Yolanda B. Sauceda , our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 13, 2009. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Captain Ezequiel Zeke Sauceda, son David L. Sauceda her parents Domingo Brito and Maria Del Pilar, sister Estela Frausto, brothers Jaime Brito and Raul Brito.
Left behind to eternally treasure her memory, are her sons, Ezequiel Minerva Sauceda Jr. , Hector J. Michelle Sauceda, Robert A. Diana Sauceda , Dr . Noe Magda Sauceda, Frank Dora Sauceda, brother Oscar J. Brito as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Yolanda was a life-long resident of Brownsville Texas. She graduated as valedictorian of her class at Villa Maria High School. She was a paraprofessional, teacher, and administrator with the Brownsville Independent School District. She was a passionate educator who loved all the students she educated throughout her teaching career. As an administrator, she was one of the most dynamic principals and everyone who worked alongside her will forever cherish all the wisdom she instilled. Yolanda retired from the Brownsville Independent School District to spend time with her loving husband and family.
Mom, we will miss you and think of you everyday of our lives.
Visitation and recitation of the holy rosary will be held on Sunday June 14, 2009 at St Lukes Catholic Church at 8p.m.
The Mass of Christian resurrection will be at 3:00Pm on Monday June 15, 2009 at St. Lukes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Serving as Pallbearers are Ezequiel Sauceda Jr, . Hector J. Sauceda, Roberto A. Sauceda, Dr. Noe Sauceda, Frank Sauceda, Juan O. Brito, Fernando Mijares, and Hector J. Sauceda Jr.
