Walter Joseph Krzywda age 89 went to be with our Lord and Savior January 30, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. He was born June 27, 1924 in Chicopee, Massachusetts to Joseph Krzywda and Tekla Nee Patla Krzywda. Walter was one of four children.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria Krzywda and sons Terry and Joseph Krzywda and a daughter Karen Krzywda. Walter Krzywda is also survived by his step children Connie, Tomas and Adriana. Walter Joseph Krzywda leaves behind five other sons and daughters Sharlene, Michael, Stasia, Jean and Teresa. He leaves behind twentythree grandchildren.
Walter Joseph Krzywda was a Navy Veteran of WW2, Korean War and Vietnam War where he earned several prestigious medals and was involved in Operation Dominic and Atomic Bomb Testing. He served six years as a Sea Man in the United States Navy and reenlisted three times for the total of twenty nine years of service. He was a Radio Man for the USS Sea Owl SS405.
Walter Joseph Krzywda enjoyed gardening, astronomy and family vacations. He was a very generous and kind man that always helped those in need also in his own spare time would transport Veterans with medical needs to the San Antonio V A Hospital in San Antonio Texas.
Visitation is on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Trevio Funeral Home North Chapel.
Chapel Service is on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Trevio Funeral HomeNorth Chapel.
Interment is at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery located 2520 S. Inspiration Road in Mission Texas.
Walter will be missed so much by all his loved ones.
