Valentin Tamayo Jr. entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 17th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Valentin Tamayo Jr. was born to Valentin Tamayo and Rebecca Casiano in Brownsville, Texas. One of his favorite things to do was spending time with family he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Valentin Tamayo Jr. was preceded in death by his parents Valentin and Rebecca Tamayo and is survived by his loving wife of 55 years of matrimony Diana Thompson Tamayo and loving children James Tamayo, Debbie Tamayo, Jerry Tamayo, Robert Tamayo, and seven grandchildren. Also, to treasure many memories are his siblings; Irma Tamayo, Linda Carrillo and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home OPI. Visitation will resume at 8:15 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, July 23rd, 2021, Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 12 PM on Friday, July 23rd, 2021. Rite of committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens
