Mr. Ubaldo Vasquez 88, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend entered into his eternal rest on Monday March 06, 2023.
Ubaldo was born to Valentin Vasquez, and Victoria Zepeda of Brownsville, Texas on December, 02, 1934.
Ubaldo proudly served in the United States Airforce for 20 years and worked as a Social Worker for 10 years with Texas Human Resources.
Ubaldo was known for his passion in assisting as an usher at St. Luke Catholic Church and the love he held for his family and friends as a devoted father and grandfather as he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ubaldo will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Ubaldo was preceded in death by his parents; Valentin Vasquez†, and Victoria Zepeda†, his first wife; Paulina Vasquez†, and second wife; Virginia Vasquez†, son; Richard Vasquez†, and siblings; Richard A. Vasquez†, and Carol Vasquez† of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Valentin Z. Vasquez†, and Olga Vasquez† of Upland, California.
He is survived by his loving children; Ubaldo Vasquez (Mary Lou), Geraldine Vasquez, Martha Vasquez (Juan Gomez†), sisters; Mrs. Minerva Saenz (Anacleto †) from Venus, Texas, Mrs. Genoveva V. Farmer (Albert †) from Irving, Texas, Rosalinda V. Newberry of Brownsville, Tx., and Mrs. Rita V. Conde (Filiberto) of Rancho Viejo, Texas. Also to treasure loving memories are his 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as well as extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home.
Visitation resumes Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the North Chapel at Tevino Funeral Home at 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church
