Tabita Esther was a dedicated Christian woman who loved the Lord. She was a member of Livingway Family Church and pursued Biblical studies to strengthen her faith. She believed in running and finishing the good race of life as mentioned in 2 Timothy 4: 78:
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, affectionately known as Mama Te to her granddaughters and greatgrandchildren. By many accounts, she lived a simple lifeshe placed more importance on loving the Lord, cherishing her family and encouraging her friends than on achieving any kind of material wealth or status. Her strength, courage and faithfulness were her trademarks and provided inspiration to all who knew her. She was always modest and humble in spirit, but never doubted her worth in the Lord.
Her children rise up and call her blessed Her husband also, and he praises her: Many women have done well, But you excel them all. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the lord, she shall be praised, Proverbs 31: 2830
Mama Te, according to 2 Corinthians 5: 68, is now in heaven with the Lord and loved ones that went before her. So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. Thank you Mama Te for having given us all your Christian love and guidance.
The family would like to thank Dr. Graciela Leija, Dr. Charles Zavala and Dr. Carlos Ponce as well as pharmacists Jesse Morgan, Antonio Gonzalez and Joy Choi for all their help in a time of need.
