Santos Sauceda, Sr.

Santos was born to Guadalupe Sauceda and Manuela Villarreal in Progreso, Texas and peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the age of eighty-two. Santos will be dearly missed by all those fortunate enough to have met him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Guadalupe and Manuela Villarreal, his loving wife; Maria Hortencia Sauceda, and son; Michael Sauceda.

Santos is survived by his children; Yvonne (Rui Manuel J.) Romao, Santos (Simone) Sauceda, Jr., and Alejandro (Cindy Elena ) Sauceda. Also, to treasure many memories are eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. As well as numerous extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022 with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. following with a Chapel service at 2 p.m. in the South Chapel at Treviño Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd. in Brownsville, Texas. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
