Rosario Gonzalez

Rosario Gonzalez, 81 of Brownsville, was born on March 26, 1933 in Brownsville, TX. She entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2014 at Valley Regional Medical Center in the presence of her immediate family.

She is survived by her two Daughters, Leticia Alfonso Gonzalez of Brownsville, TX, Diana G. Guerrero of Laredo, TX two Sons, Rafael Gonzalez ,Jr. of Brownsville, and Carlos J. Claudia Gonzalez of Laredo, TX. seven Grandchildren and two Greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her Husband, Rafael Alfredo Gonzalez, her Parents, Wenceslao and Carlota Melendez and her Soninlaw, Ludim Guerrero.

Serving as her Pallbearers will be Carlos J. Gonzalez, Alfonso Gonzalez, Alfonso Michael Gonzalez, Ludim Guerrero, Jr., Carlos J. Gonzalez Jr., Andre Smith, Joe H. Gonzales, and Guadalupe Garcia and serving as her Honorary Pallbearer will be her Son, Rafael Gonzalez, Jr.

Mrs. Gonzalez was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who cherished her family. She was a devoted Catholic and a choir member at Christ The King Catholic Church for many years. Her love for Family, Friends, and the Entire World led her to her daily devotion of reciting the Holy Rosary.

Viewing and visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7p.m. Rosary. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00p.m. at St. Lukes Catholic Church with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
