Rosalio Rivera Jr.

Rosalio Rivera Jr. ("Charlie" as we know him with his nickname) peacefully passed away on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 at the age of seventy-two years old.

Charlie was born in 1948 to Rosalio Sr. and Clemencia F. Rivera in Brownsville, Texas. He retired from the United States Marine Corps after serving 20 years. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Hector Rivera, Victor Rivera and is survived by his loving wife Dominga Rivera; their two children, Imelda Cross and her husband Kevin and Ben Rivera and his wife Romina. Also, to treasure many memories are his four grandchildren; Bradley Jacob Rivera Cross, Joshua Bryan Cross, Aminah Charlie Rivera, Baker Emerson Rivera and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 with Military Honors at 3:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Services will conclude; to respect his wishes, cremation will follow.
