Rosa Soto

Rosa Alvarado Soto entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the age of ninety.

Rosa was born to Mrs.Guadalupe Alvarado Salinas in Mexico. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Epifanio Soto Sr.; son Epifanio Soto Jr.; grandson Juan Manuel Salinas; son-in-law Delfino Salinas and is survived by her loving children Maria Elena Salinas, Maria Guadalupe Montefu, Marcial Soto and his wife Mary Soto, Juanita Soto, Arturo Soto and his wife Adelaida, Cleofas Soto and his wife Josefina, Aurora Velazquez and her husband Aureliano. Also, to treasure many memories are her eleven grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes at 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 with a funeral mass scheduled 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral located at 1218 E. Jefferson Street in Brownsville, Texas. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
