Roberto Bobby M. Olvera, 59, entered into eternal life on July 4, 2008 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

He served in the Vietnam War in 1968-1969 in the First Infantry Division Big Red One.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Panfilo Olvera and Manuela M. Olvera, sister, Mary Alice Garza and a brother, Juan Olvera.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Olvera, sisters, Ester Sotuyo, Rosie Cassidy, Belinda Flores, brothers, Ramiro Olvera and Jose Olvera.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m., today, Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral procession will depart at 10 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2008 from Trevino Funeral Home to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Eleazar Velez from Church of God will be officiating.
