Robert Lee Bryan, 81, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was a lifetime resident of Brownsville, TX and a proud United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Lydia V. Bryan, his only son Robert Lee Bryan, Jr., his parents Nem Jennings Bryan Sr. and Nicolasa C. Bryan, his siblings William Jennings Bryan, Felicity Herman, Nem Jennings Bryan, Jr., Mary Frances Gracia, Stella Ordaz and Ida Mae Villarreal.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Margaret Bryan Gomez, Elizabeth Wolfe Silva (Harry), Cory Bryan and Lydia Bryan-Valdez (Tony); his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister, Virginia Garcia and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary scheduled at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 19, 2017, in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to serve as Robert's pallbearers are his grandsons; Jaime Gonzalez, Jr., Lonnie Mayorga, Jr., Matthew Ryan Wolfe, Julio C. Gonzalez, Luis M. Gonzalez, Harry Brian Silva, Justin Richard Gomez and Ben Mayorga.
Honorary pallbearers are his nephews; Joe Villarreal, Albert "Tommy" Villarreal, Ernesto "Bubba" Villarreal, William Jennings "Bill" Bryan, Jr. and Macedonio "Mac" Gracia, Jr.
