Rebecca Gonzalez

Rebecca Gonzalez, 87, born in Matamoros and lived in Brownsville, Texas; passed away on August 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents, Tiodolo and Margarita Cisneros Gonzalez; her sister, Maria Saldana; and two brothers, Edmundo Gonzalez and Bartolo Gonzalez.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her children; Maria Margarita Gonzalez, Teresa Cisneros, Virginia Pizaña and Salvador Rodriguez. Also left to cherish many memories of her are siblings; Julia Cisneros, Inglentine Alanis, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Eliseo Gonzalez, Gildardo Gonzalez and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Honored to be serving as Rebecca's pallbearers are; Rene Gonzalez, Ruben Rangel, Ruben Rangel Jr., Juan Ramos, Ruben Yanez and Roberto Cisneros.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road. The Funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home North Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
