Raul Ortiz

Raul L. Ortiz, 81, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 24, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Roberto Ortiz and Jesus Ortiz.

He is survived by his loving wife Elva G. Ortiz, his children; Elva Jesus Reyes, Raul Dolores Ortiz, Jr., Jose Alfonso Ortiz, and Juan Cristina Ortiz, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Christ the King Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Raul Ortiz, Jr., Juan Ortiz, Jesus Reyes, Albert Ortiz, Mark Anthony Ortiz, and Jack Jew.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX 956 542-2583.
