Ramona Davila

Ramona Garza Davila, 85, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Ramona was born to Antonio and Julia Garza in Brownsville, Texas. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Margarito Davila and their son Margarito Davila, Jr.

Ramona is survived by her loving children Diana Davila (Eddie), Josefina Renteria (Tony), Miguel Davila (Lupita), Minerva Davila, Leticia Davila, Oscar Davila, Sylvia Gonzalez (Juan), Cristina Galo (Carlos), Corina Davila, Ramona Segura (Ernesto). Also, to treasure many memories are her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; her siblings Antonio Garza, Jesus Garza and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2018, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, May 28, 2018 at San Eugenio de Mazenod Catholic Church located at 5409 Austin Rd. in Brownsville, Texas. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
