Paul Douglas Wooderson

Paul Douglas Wooderson finished his remarkable journey on earth to enjoy his reward in heaven on January 26, 2021. He did not go into eternity empty handed. He touched the lives of so many people through his love, his compassion and his kindness. Many people experienced the love of Jesus through him.  He genuinely loved God and loved people.

Paul was born in 1968 to Guadalupe Hernandez in Huejutla, Hidalgo, Mexico and was adopted May 25, 1973 by Reverend Roland Douglas Wooderson and Doris Lynell McCollum Wooderson from Texas. He was currently an Educator with BISD as a Director of Choirs.  He was an active member of his church, International Christian Center.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Doug Wooderson and survived by his mother Lynell  Wooderson, beloved wife Alicia H. Wooderson; their two children, Alexis Wooderson and Marcos Wooderson; sister Terri Gardner; brother in law, Curtis Gardner; nephew, Drew Gardner; niece Shannon Crane; nephew Zach Crane and their beautiful children.  There are many family members who also treasure his memory.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at International Christian Center located at 2855 Paredes Line Road in Brownsville, Texas 78526 with a Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m. There is a Graveside Service scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. At Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
