Oralia Torres Cuellar

Oralia Torres Cuellar, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, in Brownsville, Texas, at the age of 74. Oralia was born on November 2, 1950, in Bayview, Texas, where she grew up surrounded by the warmth of her family and the vibrant culture of her community.

Throughout her life, Oralia was known for her happy, loving, and caring demeanor. She truly cared about everyone around her, always radiating joy and compassion. Oralia's passion for life was evident in the way she cherished her family above all else. She loved spending time with her loved ones, sharing laughter, and creating unforgettable memories.

Oralia is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Fernando Cuellar. She leaves behind her four children, Valentin (Monica) Ramirez, Fernando (Maribel Andrade) Cuellar Jr., Jose Angel (Melissa) Cuellar, and Michael Angelo Cuellar, who were the pride and joy of her life. In addition, her legacy continues with 13 beloved grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Oralia was preceded in death by her parents, Valentin Torres and Amparo Jaramillo and Son: Alberto Ramirez III.

Oralia's life will be celebrated through a series of services at Trevino Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation resumes on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 8:15 AM to 1:30 PM with a chapel service at 2:00 PM, concluding with a burial service at Guillen Community Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
