Ofelia Ruiz de Garcia

Ofelia Ruiz de Garcia passed peacefully to her eternal rest on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Los Fresnos, Tx. at the age of eighty-four years old, born on March 20, 1939, in Mexico to her parents, Florencio Ruiz†, and Dolores Garcia†. 

She will be missed by her loving family. 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fulgencio Garcia, Sr.†, parents, Florencio Ruiz† and Dolores Garcia†, son-in-law, Jose Rodriguez†, brothers, Porfirio Ruiz†, Aristeo Ruiz†, sisters, Marcelina Ruiz†, and Socorro Ruiz†. 

Left behind to cherish her memories are her ten children, Geronimo (Diana) Garcia, Maria Reyna Rodriguez, Javier (Esmeralda) Garcia, Blanca (Martin) Moates, Jose (Navora) Garcia, Alma (Juan) Guevara, Hugo (Edith) Garcia, Saul Garcia, Fulgencio (Jessica) Garcia, Jr., and Adan (Annabel) Garcia, sisters, Julia Gonzales, Josefina (Julian) Fragoso, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends. 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 606 W. Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX. on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with Burial of committal to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, TX., Hwy 1575 off Hwy 100 at 11:00 a.m.
