Norma Jean Campo, 86 of Brownsville, Texas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Valley Regional Medical Center of Brownsville, Texas.
Norma Jean Campo was born on August 13, 1927 in Shelby, Ohio. She graduated from Shelby High School in 1945. She then went to work in Columbus, Ohio and Washington D.C. before moving back to Shelby to marry her husband Robert in 1954. She volunteered at the Shelby Community Hospital and the Democratic Party in Shelby. She served two terms as the Precinct Chair of the Democratic Party in Shelby. Jean and Robert moved to Brownsville in 1981 where they retired.
Norma Jean Campo was preceded in death by her son Greg Campo, parents John and Marie Emmer, brother Charlie Emmer and greatgrandson Gerald.
Norma Jean Campo is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Robert Campo. Her son Paul Mary, grandchildren Jason Donny, Marie and Mandy. Six greatgrandchildren, and a large network of extended family and friends.
