Nieves Saldivar

Nieves Ramirez Saldivar passed away on Sunday, December 04, 2022, at the age of seventy-seven years old.

Nieves was born to Pedro Ramirez, and Felipa Castillo in Estación, San Felipe Guanajuato, Mexico and was a lifelong Brownsville resident. She worked for Norton Co. of Brownsville for over 30 years as an operator. Nieves enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, gardening, and her cats. Nieves will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have met her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Pedro Ramirez, and Felipa Castillo. Her beloved husband; Juan Genaro Saldivar.  She is survived by her loving daughters; Janie (Robert) Guetzow, Banesa Saldivar and one grandson; Aidan Guetzow.  Also, to treasure many memories are her extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022 with a holy rosary (spanish)  at 4:00 pm. and a holy rosary (english) at 7:00 pm. at the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd. Visitation resumes from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 with a Funeral mass at Christ The King Catholic Church 2255 Southmost Blvd. Brownsville, Texas.  Inurnment  will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd. Brownsville, Texas.
