Nereyda Estrada

Nereyda Estrada entered into eternal rest on January 13, 2021 at the age of seventy five years old. She will be greatly missed by her family members and friends.

She was born in 1945 to Gustavo Ochoa and Amelia Garcia. Her love for her family was beyond compare and produced warm memories and delicious meals that her family will cherish forever. Nereyda’s kind heart and love for everyone around her allowed her to stay in touch with her loved ones all over the world. She was a loving and kind person that helped many in any way that she could and instilled that same love of service to her husband and family.

Nereyda is preceded in eternal rest by her parents and her brother, Juan Ramon Ochoa. During this time, her beloved husband and father to their children, Justo Estrada, also entered into eternal rest. She is survived by their children: Jaime Estrada, Maura Amelia Vera, Mario Alberto Estrada and Yolanda Estrada. She is also survived by her grandchildren that she loved so much: Tristan Estrada, Sofia Estrada, Paulina Estrada, Jose Alberto Palacios, Izaac Estrada, Alfredo Gomez III, Adali Gomez and Tatyana Torres. Nereyda is also survived by three sisters: Juana Hernandez, Fredesvinda Escamilla, Gloria Garza and countless nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Services are as follows:

Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Trevino Funeral home located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Their phone number is (956)542-2583.
Funeral services are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home on the same day.
