Nereida Lerma

Nereida Lerma entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the age of forty-one years old.

Nereida was born in 1978 to Luis Garcia and Rosalinda Velez in Brownsville, Texas. She currently worked in the healthcare industry as a health care provider. Her motherly nature to take care of her family and patients was her priority. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by mother Rosalinda Velez; her grandfather Juan Infante and is survived by her father Luis Garcia; her beloved husband Steve Lerma; their three loving children, Elvira Lerma, Stephanie Lerma and Steve Lerma Jr. and his wife Ana Meza.  Also, to treasure many memories are her siblings; Jesus Velez Jr., Orlando Vasquez, Patricia Garcia, Jessica Vasquez and her husband Jacobo, Rosalinda Guerrero and her husband Conce, Aurora Velez and her husband Leslie; one grandchild, Elian Lerma; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 with a prayer service at 6 p.m. To respect her wishes; services will conclude and cremation will follow.
