Miguel Arellano, 90, from Brownsville, Texas passed away on October 3, 2015.
He was born in Mexico on November 26, 1924 to Miguel Arellano and Guadalupe Acevedo.
Preceded in his death are his parents Miguel Arellano and Guadalupe Acevedo, his wife Ofelia Arellano; son, Ramiro Arellano; his grand-daughter, Adriana Guerrero; his grandson, Salvador Monares and great-grandson Salvador Monares, Jr.
Mr. Arellano is survived by his children; Miguel Ignacio (Juanita) Arellano, Maria Elia (Gustavo Garza +) Garza, Maria Guadalupe (Salvador Monares +), Luz M. (Arnoldo) Gaytan. Also to cherish many memories are his siblings; Anita Arellano, Margarita Arellano, Esther Arellano, 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grand-children and 12 great-great grandchildren.
The Arellano Family wish to extend a special thanks to Petra Reyna (Letty) for all her dedication, love and compassion for Miguel Arellano.
Visitation is on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass is scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church located at 2645 Tulipan St., in Brownsville, TX 78521. Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
