Michelle Perez

Michelle Perez, born on November 7, 1980, passed away peacefully on October 31,2024. She is remembered for her vibrant spirit and kind-hearted personality, bringing laughter and warmth to all who knew her. 

Michelle was particularly passionate about art, finding joy and fulfillment in painting, drawing, and music. Her creative pursuits were not just hobbies; they were a reflection of her soul, allowing her to express herself and connect with others.

Michelle is survived by her husband: Leonardo Perez, son: Leonardo Jeffries Perez, mother and father: Eddie Dean Jeffries and Mildred Mendieta. She is also survived by her birth mother: Sandra Mendieta, sisters: Annie O'Conner, Rebecca Jeffries and Melissa Mendieta, Father and mother in law: Leonardo L. and Oralia Perez, sister in law: Melissa O Perez, and brother in law: David J. Perez. Left to cherish her memories as well are numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

Michelle was preceded in death by her uncle, Arturo Medina†, a loss that weighs heavily on those left behind. Her legacy of humor and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of family and friends.

A viewing will be held on November 4, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A prayer service will precede the viewing, taking place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.

May she rest in eternal peace, cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
