Mario Rios

Mario Alberto Rios, 66, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 3, 2019, in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

Mario Alberto was born to Roberto Rios Amaro and Carlota Valdez Castillo in Mexico. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends, but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Rios Amaro.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memories is his loving wife: Blanca Estela Rios; his son: Mario A. Rios Jr. (Gabby); his daughters: Blanca Herbert (Audifas) and Amber Anderson (Tim); his mother: Carlota Valdez Castillo; his brothers: Jose Rios, Roberto Rios Jr., and Jaime Rios; and his sister: Gracie Linkous. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Ezra Isiah Rios, Neydin Karin Herbert, and Everly Sky Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Trevino Funeral Home-OPI, 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
