Mario Fuente

Mario De La Fuente, 90, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest in McAllen, TX on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Mr. De La Fuente was a veteran of the Korean War and a Postal Carrier in Brownsville for 25 years.

Mr. De La Fuente is survived by his 3 sons Mario De La Fuente Jr., Jaime De La Fuente, Isreal De La Fuente; 3 Daughters Sandra Fowler, Nancy De La Fuente, and Cynthia De La Fuente; 2 brothers Ruben De La Fuente and Jorge De La Fuente; grandchildren Lori, Christie, Kevin, Brandy, Steven, Matthew, Stephanie, Allen Michael, Rose, Edward, and Eric; Great-grandchildren Kathy, Julie, Mason, James, Juluiss, Jaylee, and Alivia.

Mr. De La Fuente is preceded in death by his wife Elisa C. De La Fuente; Daughter Sylvia Whiteford; sister Alma De La Fuente.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2015 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015, in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
