Maria Teresa Gallegos

Maria Teresa Peña Gallegos entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the age of ninety-one.

Maria Teresa was born to Luis R. Peña and Josefina B. Peña in Tampico, Mexico in 1928. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Maria Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Jennifer Gallegos; her siblings, Jose Luis Peña, Carlos Peña, Alicia P. Echavarria, Marta P. Garcia, Beatriz Peña; half-brother Jorge Garcia and is survived by her loving children Sylvia A. Burke and her husband William, Marisela G. Regis and her husband Keith and Maria Catalina McGee and her husband Joshua. Also, to treasure many memories are her seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; her brother Joaquin Peña and extended family members.

Family will receive friends from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 in the South Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m.
