Mariana Gonzalez

Mariana Gonzalez entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the age of eighty-eight years old.

Mariana Gonzalez was born to Domingo and Marta B. Gonzalez in Rio Grande City, Texas in 1932.

Mariana was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jose C. Gonzalez; son Domingo Gonzalez, mother and father; Marta and Domingo Gonzalez, siblings; Fernando Gonzalez, Feliciano Gonzalez, Santiago Gonzalez and Amelia Gonzalez. Mariana is survived by her loving children Jose Gonzalez Jr., Martha Vasquez, granddaughter, Jennifer Gurrola and husband Francisco Gurrola, great grandson Fernando Gurrola and her sister-in-law Agustina Ruiz Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez and wife Maria Gonzalez. Also, to treasure many memories are her extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020. There will be a funeral mass at 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Cathedral located at 1218 E. Jefferson St. in Brownsville, Tx 78520. Rite of committal will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
