Maria Villarreal

Maria Guadalupe Villarreal entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 13, 2019, at the age of ninety-two surrounded by her loving family.

Maria Guadalupe was born to Alberto Flores and Beatriz Mendez in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and church events and spent her time gardening. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Luciano J. Villarreal Sr.; their children Laura Villarreal, Leo Villarreal (Dalia); a grandson Eric Anthony Villarreal and is survived by her loving children; Lydia V. (Nieves Jose) Soto, Leticia B. Gonzales, Luciano Villarreal Jr., Lucila (Roel) Sanchez. Also, to treasure many memories are her three siblings; Bibiano Flores, Ramona Flores Mendez and Dolores Flores Mendez; her grandchildren; Christina Gonzales, Monica L. Cole, Melissa Bradberry, Erica Gonzales (Jesse), Steven (Crystal) Villarreal, Lionel (Tanya) Villarreal, Amy (Matthew) Sanchez, Leo Ross (Nicole) Villarreal, Joe D. Cole, Edward Ramos, Cal Ramos, Chris Anthony Villarreal (April), Trisha Varela (Gerardo); numerous great- grandchildren and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2019 with a chapel service 10 a.m. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
