Maria Luisa Garcia entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Maria Luisa was born to Emilio Garza and Genoveva Garza in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband; three brothers, Manuel Garza, Guadalupe Garza, Refugio Garza and is survived by her loving children Reynaldo Garcia and his wife Michelle Tanner and Martha D. Garcia. Also, to treasure many memories are her siblings; Genoveva Martinez and her husband Rodolfo, Ricardo Garza and his wife Nena; sister-in-law Juana Medina; nephew Rudy Martinez and his wife Jessica; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

To respect her wishes, she will be cremated. There will be a Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Camino Del Rey Church located at 960 W. Ruben M. Torres Blvd. in Brownsville, Texas 78521.
