Maria Josefina Gonzalez

Maria Josefina Gonzalez entered her eternal rest on January 23, 2024, at the age of seventy-three years old.

 She was born on February 16, 1949, in Mexico to her parents, Casimiro Campos† and Ramona Yzaguirre†. 

Maria will be remembered by her loving soul and the enormous love she held for her family. 

She will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. 

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Jose Gonzalez, her five children, Mary (Juan F.) Alvarado, Janie (Jesus) Fernandez, Joe (Gabriela) Gonzalez, Freddy (Dana) Gonzalez, Jerry (Amanda) Gonzalez, thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends. 

Public visitation in her honor will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Treviño Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd.,1355 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, Texas, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Visitation resumes Friday, January 26, 2024, from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. 

Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan St., Brownsville, Texas at 12:00 p.m. with rite of committal to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, Texas at 1:00 p.m.
