Mrs. Maria Guadalupe Martinez 69, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest on Sunday November 06, 2022.

Maria Guadalupe was born to Guadalupe Gonzalez and Herminia Gomez of Brownsville, Texas. Lupita was known for her delicious cooking, visiting casinos, and the immense love she held for her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Maria Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents; Guadalupe Gonzalez and Herminia Gomez; her husband, Roberto Martinez; two sisters, Irma Mendez, Norma Solorzano; four brothers; Ramiro Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, Mario Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, and stepson; Gilberto Martinez.

Maria Guadalupe is survived by her loving daughter; Jessica Martinez; stepchildren, Minerva Gracia, Griselda Whitney, Daniel Martinez, and Diana Salazar.  Also, to treasure loving memories are her numerous grandchildren as well as extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday November 11, 2022 at 8:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. Chapel services will be held at North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home at 12 p.m. on Friday November 11, 2022. Rite of committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memoria Gardens.
