Maria Rita Galvan, 81, entered into eternal life on February 7, 2012.
Mrs. Galvan was a woman of great faith, prayer, love and compassion. She was also a business woman, owner of numerous restaurants extending from McAllen, Harlingen, and Brownsville, Texas. She was an active member of ICC International Christian Center. She loved to dance. She was the prime example of what a Christian woman should be. We are more than positive that she is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Julio and Consuelo Rocha, her brothers Julio and Guillermo Rocha, her sister Dolores Rocha.
She is survived by her daughters Delia Abelardo Sanchez, Rosemary Lorenzo Bazan, Graciela Tomas Gomez, Enriqueta Rolando Garza, Rita Charlie Vera, her brother Felix Rocha, her sister Teresa Adame, her 16 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bob Ordeman officiating, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral chapel service will be held at 12 noon with Pastor Bob Ordeman officiating, Friday, February 10, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren and her honorary pallbearers will be all of her greatgrandchildren.
