Maria Figueroa

Maria de Jesus Figueroa, 89, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Maria de Jesus was born to Guadalupe Rodriguez and Abraham Torres in Mexico. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gregorio Figueroa Sr.; her daughter Micaela Garcia Figueroa.

Maria de Jesus is survived by her loving children; Hector Figueroa (Rosario), Martin Figueroa (Yolanda), Gregorio Figueroa (Rosario), Adrian Figueroa (Yolanda), Concepcion Figueroa, Margarita Valdez (Jesus); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2018, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 1055 Military Rd, Brownsville Tx 78520. Rite of committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd. in Brownsville, Texas.
