Maria Alicia Hernandez, 69, entered into eternal life on August 29, 2008 in Brownsville, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Porfirio y Maria Antonia Ramirez; husband, Santos Hernandez; son, Francisco Zapata; brother, Sylverio Ramirez; sister, Maria Luisa Zavala; son-in-law, Rene Camarillo and a grandson, Rene Camarillo, Jr. .She is survived by her children, Antonia Camarillo, Roberto Sylvia Zapata, Teresa Guadalupe Cabrieles, Elvira Nicolas Roman, Rosario James Etheridge, Aurora Zapata, Jesus Zapata, Santos Joanne Hernandez, Luisa Hernandez, Rigoberto Hernandez, and a daughter-in-law, Dolores Zapata.

She is also survived by her siblings, Esperanza, Maria, Jesus Ernesto, Everardo, Jesus, Marta, Francisca, Porfirio, Miguel and Belen. 32 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday Aug.31,2008 from 10:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, September 1, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.with a recitation holy rosary on Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at St. Eugenio De Mazenod Catholic Church with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, Texas 78521, 956 542-2583.
