Manuela Flores

Manuela Perez Flores passed away peacefully November 9, 2007 after a long illness. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Cathedral and a retired bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Perez and her father Julio Perez, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother Julio Perez.

Manuela was an avid gardener and baker. Her roses and her pineapple upsidedown cake will be fondly remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Alfonso A. Flores, her son Manuel Alfonso Flores, her daughter-in-law Heather Flores, grandsons, Michael and Gabriel Flores, sisters Angela Delgado and Mary Avila and brother Robert Perez.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Trevino Funeral Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Manuel Flores, Robert Perez, Joe Perez,

Pedro Perez, and Victor Avila. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gabriel

Flores and Michael Flores.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Trevino Funeral Home, 1355 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
