BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Lydia Ayala Cordova, born on December 24, 1963, died on Monday, January 29, 2018 in Brownsville, Texas. She was fifty-four years old.
Lydia had a great heart and was a beautiful person, helping anybody in need no matter what. She will be missed greatly.
Her parents, Felipe Velasquez Cordova and Maria Guadalupe Ayala Cordova; and brother, Francisco Cordova, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving son, Angel Guadalupe Cordova; siblings Maria Victoria Cordova, Felipe Cordova, Jr., Jesus Cordova, Olga Cordova Gillette, Guadalupe Cordova Gonzalez, Amalia Cordova, and Ricardo Cordova; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visiting hours are on Thursday, February 01, 2018, beginning at eleven o'clock in the morning and concluding at nine o'clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock in the evening within the Trevino Funeral Home South Chapel.
Funeral services will commence on Friday, February 02, 2018 at two o'clock in the afternoon, in Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 2255 Southmost Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas 78521. All services will conclude after the mass and in accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow.
