Luis Rodriguez

It is with a heavy heart to announce that Luis Demetrio Rodriguez entered into eternal life on July 30th, 2020 at the age of forty-five years old.

Luis was born in 1974 to Lauriano P. and Maria Elena G. Rodriguez in Brownsville, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and a friend.

He enjoyed barbecuing for his family and was a fan of the football team, “The Cowboys”. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Luis is preceded in death by his mother Maria Elena Garza de Rodriguez and is survived by his loving father Lauriano P. Rodriguez; Luis’s beloved wife Micaela P. Rodriguez; their two sons, Leonardo Rodriguez and Luis D. Rodriguez Jr. Also, to treasure many memories are his four sisters; Maria Veronica Rodriguez, Laura Elena Ruiz, Martha Angelica Olivarez, Norma Eliza Rodriguez; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 with a prayer service from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8:15 a.m. to

11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 with a chapel service scheduled at 11 a.m. Rite of committal will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
