Lucila Vela

Lucila P. Vela, 74, resident of Brownsville, TX, entered into eternal life on September 11, 2009a t Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.

She is survived by her husband; Horacio Vela, daughters; Marta Alicia Cervantes, Lucila N. Flores, Sandra Ochoa and Hilda Vela, sons; Carlos Vela, Ismael Vela, Horacio Jesus Vela, and Martin Vela, 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, sister; Blanca Oralia Lara, and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume fro 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be her sons and sons-in-law.
