Lewis White, 80, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at home.
He is survived by his wife Trula RobbinettWhite, daughters Cindi Myers and Kathy Fleetwood sons Michael White and Robert White, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with many close friends.
Born in Salem, NB and raised in Sabetha, KS, the son of Orval and Hester Henry White, is the second youngest of five brothers, Leon, Dale, Ralph, and Lee.
He graduated from Sabetha High School in Sabetha, KS and then served with the US Air Force from January 1951 to October 1953. After completing his service to our country he went back to school and earned a degree in Civil Engineering. His position as a Civil Engineer allowed him to travel around the world designing and constructing oil pipelines. When he was not travelling he resided in Houston, TX but moved to Brownsville, TX to enjoy the leisure life.
He enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing, but his true passion was working crossword puzzles.
