Lazara Sanchez

Lazara Yañez Sanchez entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 6, 2020.

Lazara was born to Trinidad Yañez and Paula Solis in Mexico. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father and her brother Ruben Yañez and is survived by her loving mother Paula S. Yañez and two daughters Nereida Garcia (Erick Garcia) and Enedelia Teniente (Juan Teniente). Also, to treasure many memories are her siblings; Ramiro Yañez, Juan Yañez, Maria Garza, Raquel Garcia, Estela Puentes; grandchildren David L. Garcia, Adrian L. Garcia, Kelsey A. Garcia, Erick Garcia Jr., Andreina L. Sanchez, Eliana L. Cuellar (Santiago Cuellar), Aldo I. Sanchez, Jahayro J. Sanchez and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Visitation resumes from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020 following funeral mass 2 p.m. at San Jesus de Felipe Church located at 2215 Avenida Rancho Viejo in Brownsville, Texas. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Honored to serve as Lazara’s pallbearers are; David L. Garcia, Adrian L. Garcia, Jahayro J. Sanchez, Aldo I. Sanchez, Erick Garcia and Juan Teniente.
