Klaartje Verbeek

June 14, 1920 — April 8, 2011

Klaartje Neeltje Clarita Verbeek, 90, went home to continue her journey by her late husbands Edwardo side on April 8th, 2011.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
Theres a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.
Someday Ill wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
Thats where youll find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why cant I
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why cant I

Mrs. Verbeek is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews back in her homeland of Holland and her two longtime sitters Maria Reyes and Margarita Hernandez , her guardian and friend James M. Unwin, Attorneys Patricia Hernandez and staff Ignacio Nacho Garza and caring staff at Long and Chilton.
We would wish to thank the following people and facilities for their commitment and care provided to Mrs. Verbeek. Dr. Todd Shenkenberg and his wonderful staff of Angels, Dr. Kathleen Salvatorre, The Management and talented staff at Golden Palms Nursing Home and Retirement Center. People say there are seven wonders in this world but they did not know Mrs. Verbeek. She was a kind and giving person whom sought no recognition for her good deeds and acts of kindness. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have been graced by her presence. May you rest in peace my lady and continue to walk Hand in Hand we walk to countryside.
