Julio Cesar Romero, a beloved husband, father, sibling, and friend, passed away on August 13, 2025, in Missouri, at the age of fifty-four. Born on September 20, 1970, in Brownsville, Texas, Cesar's life was defined by his funny and outgoing personality.
Known as a jokester, Cesar had the ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him. His outgoing personality made him approachable and loved by many. He was always ready with a joke and was known for lending a helping hand whenever it was needed. Whether it was through his passion for truck driving, restoring cars, or riding his motorcycle, Cesar embraced life fully, transforming everyday activities into memorable experiences. An animal lover at heart, he found immense joy in the companionship of his pets.
Cesar is survived by his devoted wife, Blanca Castillo Romero, and his cherished son, Jacob Romero. He is also remembered by his siblings: Leticia, Lorena, Cinthya, Miguel, and Pedro Romero, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold onto the memories of his kind-hearted spirit.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Miguel and Maria Ernestina Romero.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cesar's life during the visitation at Trevino Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd., located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd., in Brownsville, Texas, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Services to conclude after 9 p.m., cremation to follow.
