Julio Puente

Julio R. Puente entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the age of eighty-one.

Julio was born to Joaquin Puente and Demetria Romero in Tampico, Mexico. He retired from many years of service at Whispering Palms nursing homes. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Joaquin Puente and is survived by his loving wife Apolonia Vega Puente; his twelve children, Graciela P. Ramirez, Ramon Puente, Rodolfo Puente, Laura Cervantes, Ana Lidia Puente, Raul Puente, Rosario Puente, Rosa Puente, Sylvia Puente, Ruben Puente, Luisa Puente, Julio Puente; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also, to treasure many memories are his siblings; Simon Puente and Ruben Puente and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Visitation resumes from 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a chapel service will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019. Rite of committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
