BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Julian Jesus Pedraza, Sr., born on September 2, 1945, died on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the age of seventy-two years old.
Julian is a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Army. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12148 and of St. John Vianney Catholic Church of Round Rock, Texas. He will be greatly missed.
His son, Rafael Pedraza; and his parents, Julian Crispin Escamilla and Presciliana Pedraza, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Juanita Pedraza; sons, Julian Jesus Pedraza, Jr. and his wife Carmen Ybarra Pedraza and son, Sergio Pedraza; daughter, Marisol Pedraza Melendez; brothers, Javier Pedraza and Marco Pedraza; sister, Yolanda Rivera; and grandchildren Devin Pedraza, Dylan Pedraza, Eva Pedraza, and Caleb Melendez.
Visiting hours are on Thursday, May 31, 2018, beginning at three o'clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o'clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Thursday evening within the Trevino Funeral Home South Chapel.
Funeral services will commence on Friday, June 1, 2018 at nine o'clock in the morning, at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, located at 1218 E. Jefferson Street, Brownsville, Texas 78520. Committal services with full military honors will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, Texas 78526.
