A Juanita le sobreviven su esposo, Ángel Saldívar, y sus amadas hijas, Margarita (Erick) Castillo, Graciela (Álvaro) Loredo y Angélica (Eduardo) Cisneros. Disfrutó mucho de su papel de abuela, dejando ocho nietos y cinco bisnietos, que siempre tendrán su recuerdo en sus corazones.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Concepción Vargas y Gumercinda Amaro, así como su hermano, Julián Vargas, y su hermana, Hortencia Vargas.
El velorio se llevará a cabo en Trevino Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd. ubicada en 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521, el jueves 19 de junio de 2025, de 12:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. con un rezo del santo rosario de 2:00 p.m. a 3:00 p.m. el mismo día. Los servicios concluirán después de las 4 p.m. con una cremación a continuación.
La vida de Juanita fue un testimonio de amor y familia, y deja un legado que perdurará en los corazones de sus seres queridos.

Juanita V. Saldivar, born on March 30, 1952, in Mexico, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Brownsville, Texas. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Angel Saldivar, and her loving daughters, Margarita (Erick) Castillo, Graciela (Alvaro) Loredo, and Angelica (Eduardo) Cisneros. She took great joy in her role as a grandmother, leaving behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion Vargas and Gumercinda Amaro, as well as her brother, Julian Vargas, and sister, Hortencia Vargas.
Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home-Old Port Isabel Rd. located at 1355 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a recitation of the holy rosary from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. the same day. Services will conclude after 4 p.m. with a cremation to follow.
Juanita's life was a testament to love and family, and she leaves a legacy that will endure in the hearts of those she loved.
