Juan Jose Ramirez

Juan Jose Ramirez, born on April 15, 1946, in Brownsville, Texas, departed from this world on January 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by his loving and caring nature. He will always be remembered for his sweet demeanor, infectious humor, and his ability to brighten the lives of those around him.

Affectionately known for his dedication, Juan took immense pride in his work with plants and cultivating his nursery at home. His passion for gardening not only brought him joy but also provided beauty to those fortunate enough to share in it.

Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda Falcon Ramirez; his devoted daughter, Marvellia Ann Meskimen; and his son, Juan Pablo Ramirez. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Matthew Garcia, Jenna Ramirez, Mark Anthony Ramirez, Joshua Jared Garcia, Felicia Nicole Zavala, and cherished great-grandchild. He leaves a void in the hearts of his family who will remember him as a source of love and strength.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jose Pablo Ramirez and Francisca De La Cerda and son, Mark Anthony Ramirez. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who remain.

A series of services to honor Juan's life will be held at Trevino Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas. The visitation will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, January 11, 2025, another visitation will be held from 8:15 AM to 10:00 AM, continuing with a Military Honors from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Throughout these occasions, family and friends will gather to reflect on Juan's remarkable life and the profound love he shared.

May Juan Jose Ramirez rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of his family and the memories he created. He will be deeply missed but always fondly remembered.
