Juan M. Hernandez, Sr., 65, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Harlingen, surrounded by his loving family.
Juan was a native and a lifetime resident of Brownsville. Being a Trico supervisor, he proved his great work in his occupation. Juan was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
Juan is survived by his children, Ana Cristina Brannam and her husband Scott, Juan Miguel Hernandez, Jr., Esperanza Hernandez Natal and her husband Leon, Sandra Hernandez, Edica Hernandez Becerra and her husband Eduardo, Felix Albert Muniz and his wife Irma, Noe Raul Muniz and his wife Titiana. Also to cherish many memories are his grandchildren; Stephanie Ann DeLeon, Kimberly Anne DeLeon, Aylene Hernandez, Sergio Hernandez, Juan M. Hernandez III, Isaac Hernandez, Gilberto Perez, Jr., Christopher Perez, Nicholas Miguel Perez, Heriberto Garcia, Marco Ethen Garcia, Eduardo Joaquin Becerra, Felix Xavier Muniz, Jr., Esequiel Raul Muniz, Elijahs Andres Muniz, Guliaha America Muniz; a great-grandson, Jayden Manuel Sanchez DeLeon; a cousin J.J. Martinez and extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017, and continue through 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that evening in the North Chapel at Trevino Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017, in the North Chapel. Services will conclude after the funeral. As per his wishes he will be cremated.
