Juan H. Almaraz

 Juan H. Almaraz peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 4^th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.  

In 1928, Juan was born to Estanislao and Dolores H. Almaraz in Brownsville, Texas. He was a lifetime resident and a United States Army Veteran. He retired from many years of service as an operator in a service company. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, his son Randall Bruce Almaraz, a grandson John Jessie Almaraz and siblings Benito Almaraz, Juanita Rosas, Estanislao Almaraz Jr. and is survived by his loving children Dolores Jean Almaraz Ward and Juan Jesus Almaraz. Also, to treasure many memories are his three sisters; Celia A. Garcia, Martina A. Tavarez Tobias, Micaela Botello, five grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren and extended family members. 

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 8^th, 2024, with a Rosary at 2 p.m. in the South Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home. Veterans of Foreign War Post 2035 will present Military Honors at 3 p.m. Services will conclude at four o'clock in the afternoon; to respect Juan’s wishes, cremation will follow.
