Jose Tamayo

Jose Luis Tamayo, also well known as "Joey", 45, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Community First Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Joey was born to Maria Uvalle and Cirilo Tamayo in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

He was preceded in death by his father Cirilo Tamayo Sr.; his maternal grandfather Felix Uvalle; his uncles Felix Tamayo, Jacinto Tamayo, Pablo Tamayo and his aunt Julia Tamayo Camarillo.

Joey is survived by his loving fiancé Tracy De Leon; his mother Maria U. Tamayo; his two sons Jarusa Castro, Josiah A. Tamayo; his siblings Mary Aguayo (Rigo), Felix Tamayo (Tracy), Cirilo Tamayo, Jr.(Sandra). Also, to treasure many memories are his great-loving nieces and nephews; Diego Aguayo, Rigo Aguayo, Jr., Andres Aguayo, Vanessa A. Delgado, Cirilo Tamayo III, Joshua C. Tamayo, Cassaundra Tamayo, Jordan Lynn Tamayo, Elizabeth Tamayo, Alicia Tamayo, Samantha Tamayo and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home. Services will conclude, as per his wishes.
