Jose Soto

Jose Angel Soto, born November 1, 1941 of Brownsville, Texas was a devoted Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, entered into eternal rest on June 22, 2020 at Fox Hollow Nursing Home at the age of seventy-eight years old. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Julia M. Soto and his parents; Nieves Soto and Manuela R. Soto.

Left to cherish his memory are his five daughters; Marina Alegria, Margarita Ann Figueroa and her husband Gilberto, Maricela Reyna and her husband Alonso, Maria Isabel Soto Muñoz, Maria Elena Hernandez and her husband Israel; his grandchildren; Juan E. "Johnny" Alegria, Priscilla N. Mayorga, Aracely Maldonado, Krystal Martinez, Kassandra Figueroa, Gilberto Figueroa, Jr., Bianca Reyna, Alonso Reyna, Jr., Julissa Reyna, Julia M. Mares, Michael Hernandez, Makaila Hernandez; numerous great-grandchildren. Also to treasure many memories are his siblings, Ismael Soto and his wife Felicitas, Irene Zurita and her husband Manuel, Juan Antonio Soto and Alicia Infante, Erica Soto and Ricardo Soto.

Due to COVID-19, only a mass will be heard at Our Lady of Good Counsel located at 1055 Military Road, Brownsville, Texas on Thursday, June 25th, 2020 at 3 p.m.
